When a regular clean is not enough
Dirt builds up slowly in places nobody looks at every week: the top of the kitchen cupboards, the grout around the bath, the gap behind the washing machine. A deep clean deals with all of it in one go, so the home or property starts again from a clean base.
People book a deep clean before moving into a new home, after building or decorating work, before selling or letting, after an illness in the house, or simply once or twice a year.
What a deep clean adds
- Skirting boards, door frames, doors and light fittings
- Built-up grease on kitchen tiles, cupboard fronts and the extractor
- Limescale and soap residue on taps, tiles, shower screens and plugholes
- Behind and under appliances that can be moved safely
- Radiators, switches, sockets and handles
- Window sills, frames and the inside of the glass
Kitchens and bathrooms
These two rooms take most of the time on a deep clean. Kitchens get worktops, splashbacks, cupboard fronts and the outside of every appliance degreased, and an oven deep clean can be added from £30. Bathrooms get descaled and disinfected from the ceiling to the floor.
After the deep clean
Many clients follow a deep clean with regular house cleaning. It is much quicker to keep a home at that level than to bring it back to it, which keeps regular visits shorter and cheaper.
